Anna Matussek is a development worker, who is currently living in Hanoi, Vietnam, working on Civil Society and Good Local Governance projects. She recently wrote a ‘Gender-sensitive Project Planning’ manual for their Vietnamese Partner organizations and is collaborating on a project to extend the domestic violence shelter system in Vietnam. With an academic background in Gender and Development Studies, she also briefly worked for Time Out magazine in London and holds a regular story-telling event called ‘PenTales’ in Hanoi. Her interests range from feminist interpretations of pop culture to 80s power ballads, karaoke, disco dancing and photography.

Pink Nasty

As a Pink Nasty novice, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that her musical style is a cross between Weezer and Rilo Kiley/Jenny Lewis. Hailing from Wichita, Kansas, Sara Beck, aka Pink Nasty, is rapper Black Nasty’s sister (apparently Black Nasty gave his little sis her name).
