Reviews by Katie Tyrrell
Katie Tyrrell has nearly 10 years of experience in the field of international development. Her research interests include the formation, coalescence, and activism on the part of women’s peace movements in conflict and post-conflict settings. In particular, the research concerns the ability of such movements to successfully overcome societal divides such as class, ethnicity and religion and what the promotion of the success of such movements can mean in terms of the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions on women, peace, and security. She is the author of In Support of Their Sisters in Conflict: Understanding the Transnational Impact of the Liberian Women Peacemakers, with publication forthcoming in the Women’s Policy Journal of Harvard.
