I was very happy to receive this product. This is a great way to spark a couple’s lackluster love life by giving each other a sensual massage. The product came in the flavor of strawberry cheesecake, which is definitely one of my favorite desserts. I loved the tube that the pink cream came in, as well as the black classy writing on the front. It definitely depicted romance. It has a flip top that makes it easy to use, even with creamy hands. It contains softening moisturizers, which is also a plus.

When first trying this rich lotion, I was happily surprised by the smell. It really did smell like strawberry cheesecake. It was a little hard to work into the skin, and after a while, the smell became too much for my fiancé. He found it overpowering, and the lotion itself was hard to work into the skin. I was intrigued to see if it tasted like strawberry cheesecake. Unfortunately, I found it tasted a bit like a plastic substance. Even with this little downfall, I found this product interesting. The best part is that it is safe and can even be used as a lubricant. So if you are looking for a sweet, pretty and sensual surprise, this may be the product for you.

One thing I would like to add, this is the most relaxing scent when left at room temperature, but for a quick cool down, refrigeration make it a wonderful break in the day. For a quick make up after that fight, it might be the needed cool down technique…

The Pulsa Bath Ball by Pure Romance, the company best known for taking Tupperware parties to the next level, is your basic, no frills massager. Consisting of a grapefruit-sized loofah with a vibrating motor in its center, the Pulsa Bath is a massager intended for use in the bath or shower. Given how annoyingly loud the massager is when turned on, I would opt for the shower since the running water does a pretty good job of masking the motor’s whirl. As for the actual massaging capabilities of the Pulsa Bath, there’s a lot of be desired.

The size and shape of the device, while appropriate for a loofah, make it difficult to handle as a massager. Most hand-held massagers are small with either ridged or bumpy surfaces. There’s a reason for this, as the differing textures add the sensation and pressure needed to massage muscles. The soft, spongy texture of the Pulsa Bath makes the kneading and manipulation of muscles difficult and time consuming. The loofah is absorbent, though, and while it may fall short as a personal massager, it’s perfectly adequate as a bath sponge, its size and shape making it tuck away in any bathroom drawer or suitcase.

Intimacy Kit

I LOVED THIS!!! But before I start raving about how great this product is, let me get a few perfunctory criticisms out of the way:

The non-phallic (and, hence, non-threatening) vibrator should come with AAA batteries... or the package should sport verbiage about how batteries are required.
The cardboard insert did not hold the pleasantly fruit-scented products in place. When I opened the box, I found all of the bottles had slid out of their respective places and were clustered into a messy jumble in right-hand corner of the box.
The leak-proof bottles were sealed so tightly that they were not easy to open with fingernails.
The feather duster was too small to be useful and fell apart after three uses.

Beyond these minor annoyances, I enjoyed using this kit much more than I expected to. (I am not much into sex toys.) My partner liked it too. He enjoyed getting a back massage with the Aura Sensual Massage Oil. He also liked the fact that the oil absorbed slowly enough into his skin for me not to have to continuously reapply the oil, and that it didn’t stain his comforter.

The mint flavored Ex. T. Cee Flavored Personal Heightener caused a mildly pleasant tingling in our nether regions and, unlike many other edible lotions, actually tasted good. The Dust Me Pink Sensual Body Powder tasted like strawberries and didn’t leave a chalky aftertaste. We were so hot from the extended foreplay that we decided to skip the vibrator. We didn’t use the lubricant either; the two lubricated condoms in the kit got the job done.

I used the vibrator on a solo expedition. The vibrator operated on two speeds—just right and “ohmigod.” It was easy to hold from numerous angles and easily switched on and off with a push button right on top. The hard plastic was easy to clean afterwards too.

The verdict: BUY IT!!!

Dust Me Pink Sensual Body Powder

The Pure Romance website looks like a page out of Seventeen magazine with pictures of giggly, freckle-faced women and hearts and cursive, all splashed in shades of pink. And while the company’s mission is serious—empowering women to express and explore their sexuality—the products have the same playful feel the homepage reveals.

Pure Romance products range from light lotions to bondage accessories to vibrators, available in seven collections at prices that span a few dollars through $150. Some have catchy labels (like the sassy Coochy line), others have a romantic touch (like the Sweet Seduction lubricant) and others may appeal to people with a straightforward sensibility (like the Nympho Niagra stimulation cream).

The Dust Me Pink Sensual Body Powder is scented, flavored and comes with a flirty little feather applicator. I gave the Barely Berry flavor a whirl. Although the bubblegum scent was far from subtle, there was very little flavor. I was disappointed the powder didn’t dissolve better on the tongue and that it tasted… well, so much like powder.

Skip the edible part of play with this product and stick to the feathery-fun part of the exploration. The powder feels great, and with a light touch, is a silky, soft introduction to your partner’s beautiful body or your own.

As a company, Pure Romance is not just about products, it’s also about education. Through their sexual health initiatives, they speak on college campuses, and they’ve developed safe products for women challenged by breast cancer.

I wasn’t excited enough by the Sensual Body Powder to try another flavor. But because I believe in Pure Romance’s focus on sexual health and empowerment and because I applaud their initiatives, I would definitely support the company by giving one of their many other products a try.

Coochy Rash-Free Shave Cream

I was immediately drawn to the shave cream from Pure Romance that promised a rash-free shaving experience. The bottle was well packaged and pretty in pink, the Pear Berry scent was sensational and the product lathered well. After reading the product’s background, not only does Pure Romance recommend this product for use on the personal area, it also doubles as a gentle hair conditioner.

The Coochy Rash-Free Shave Cream guarantees a bump-free shaving experience. While rejoicing that I had received a two-for-one product, I began shaving. Unfortunately, it did not provide me with the rash-free and non-irritating shave that was promised. My suggestion for using the Coochy Rash-Free Shave Cream is to leave the top open and let the Pear Berry smell fill your home; or do as the directions suggest and use the product as a gentle hair conditioner.

When I received this product in the mail, I knew immediately what it was because even the box it was posted in smelled good. Once I opened the package, the candle it contained filled the room with a lovely scent—and I hadn't even lit it yet. But this isn't just aromatherapy; this is a massage oil candle, featuring “Seduction Scent.” Encased in what appears to be either Aladdin's lamp or a metal gravy boat, this candle is just too cute. As a person who likes to decorate her house with foo-foo candles, I would have bought this for the packaging alone. And I get a massage out of it, too? Awesome!

When you light the candle, the soybean oil it contains liquefies in a few minutes, heating it gently. There is no wax or paraffin in the candle, so it never burns above body temperature. So worry not, you won't give someone a third degree burn when pouring it on their back! The oil feels like a silky lotion, not at all greasy or sticky. And even better, there's enough oil for about thirty massages. This candle is made by Pure Romance, a company which specializes in “fun parties”—think Tupperware party, but with sex toys. And although they suggest pairing this candle with the “Erotic Massage Book,” I would also recommend this to anyone who likes pretty, scented things and foot rubs!

Pheromones: gimmick or aphrodisiac? Pure Romance would tell you the latter is definitely the case. “Next time you are headed out, dab a little Basic Instinct behind your ears, on your neck, and wrists and watch as people are drawn to you!” the company’s website exhorts.

I decided to put Basic Instinct Sex Attractant to the test. I applied it liberally and headed to the mall, where I was immediately approached by a man in the food court. It’s actually working! I thought. Turned out he was just handing out teriyaki chicken samples. They were good. I had two. No one else seemed “drawn” to me in any way.

Pure Romance, a company that sells sex toys and accessories through in-home parties, names Basic Instinct Sex Attractant is one of their top sellers. The power of the cologne is based on pheromones, chemicals emitted by living organisms to send messages to individuals of the same species. I’ve read that waitresses get better tips while wearing pheromones, but I sure didn’t attract any sex the week I wore it.

The cologne, which has a roll-on applicator, has a light, citrus-y, summery scent, and while it could be worn as a pleasant fragrance, I don’t put much stock in its ability to get you in the sack.
